![]() ![]() It looks awesome in flex nibs and shades very strong. This shimmer is just incredible, I’ve never seen anything like it! There’re not just some particles of shimmer – it’s a whole new layer of silver! Maybe it’s not an ink for everyday use, but it’ll do a very great job in calligraphy or cards. I love this colour that looks like rose gold for me. I fell in love with this ink ever since I inked up the first pen. Water resistance – after 5 minutes underwater, all the dye washed out and there’s only a silver shimmer left.Ĭomparison (I know Robert Oster has some similar inks, but I don’t have any of them…): Saturation – the colour is light, but still visible.īleeding – average, some points only on a crappy paper. However, Robert Oster is based out of Australia, there’s a Tynte Flowers in Adelaide, and this is meant to be a classic rose pink hue, so maybe that’s the connection Swatches A large swatch of ink showcases the darkest this ink gets, as well as the maximum properties it has (when held at the right angle to show any shimmer or sheen). ![]() It skipped, the line was unstable, there were hard starts. It didn’t come along with my Lamy – in F or M nibs it was pretty nice, but it could catch up with B and 1.1 nibs. The same with Noodler’s Ahab, but it isn’t anything unusual. even though it has a fine nib, it flows really well. It reflects the light so strong, that it’s really hard to take the pictures, especially on a white paper.įlow – I’d say it good, but I had some problems with it. Robert Oster Signature Inks and ShakeNShimmy inks are made in Australia and available the world over. There’s so much of it, that it makes a whole layer of silver! When you touch some places where there’s more of it, it looks like a makeup highlighter! It’s incredible! It’s a dirty, light pink with a big amount of silver shimmer. In the case of this one – quite a lot of shimmer. ![]() This beautiful ink is a part of Robert Oster’s Shake’N’Shimmy line, which as the name says, contains some shimmer. ![]()
